So what is a car brokerage?
Many people for a variety of reason’s need to sell their car or motor vehicle eg. emigration, financial pressure, acquired another vehicle etc etc. Many people prefer not to sell there surplus vehicle themselves for reasons such as security, insurance cover, comeback claims etc. At Reddy 2 Drive we professionally prepare and present vehicles for sale, we market the vehicle through a variety of channels both on and offline. We confirm appointments to view the vehicle for sale and handle the viewing to prospective buyers. We work towards selling for the pre-agreed value with the seller, however when we have a solid offer very close to the asking price we relay this offer to the seller for consideration.
Following the completed sale of the vehicle we complete a sale contract and take care of all paperwork relating to the change over of vehicle ownership. We will only accept cash, draft or bank transfer as payment for vehicles and the seller is paid in full within 3 working days. Reddy 2 Drives selling fee is 10% of the selling price of the vehicle plus VAT (min charge €400), however as with some vehicles we have sold which are far in excess of €50,000 we pre-agree a reduced fee.
In the situation were a vehicle has a current finance agreement placed upon it we must clear the outstanding finance amount following the successful sale of the vehicle. Reddy 2 Drive Ltd are Vat registered and also hold a current T.A.N no from the revenue commissioner. We also carry comprehensive road risk insurance and are fully covered for vehicle demonstration purposes.
Prior to accepting a vehicle for sale we must be happy that it is off a high standard and we will check out the vehicle background. Vehicles which have been written off, clocked or badly damaged will not be accepted. Also vehicles with outstanding VRT or Vat revenue penalties will not be accepted.
